Profile

Nice to meet you! My name is “O’tu” and I’m from Japan.

I’m in my 40s, work as an IT engineer, and am married. By nature — and according to those who know me — I’m a strong introvert.

If you were to map out introversion and extroversion on a scale, I would be positioned firmly on the introverted side.

I talk more about why I started this blog in another article, “Concept“. Aside from that, I feel like I’m at a turning point in my life. I wanted to take a step back and reflect on my journey through the lens of introversion.

Life has brought its fair share of challenges, frustrations, and joys. In the past, I struggled a lot, but now I’ve learned to look at myself more calmly and objectively. More importantly, I’ve reached a point where I can recognize and accept my own weaknesses — something I was once too afraid to do. And rather than keeping my experiences to myself, I’ve started to think: There must be others facing the same struggles.

By sharing my own experiences, I hope to provide insights and encouragement to fellow introverts. If my words can help even one person feel a little more hopeful — look forward to tomorrow, try a little harder tomorrow — then this blog will have been worth it.

I’m just an ordinary company employee with no special talents, but I want to share how I’ve navigated life as a deep introvert, what I think about now, and what lies ahead.
I’m looking forward to this journey and hope you’ll join me! Thank you!
